Men's Soccer Gains Draw With Local Rival

SPRING ARBOR, Mich. – Albion College had more than twice the number of shots on goal than Spring Arbor University, but the Britons were unable to cash in on the scoring opportunities as it played to a scoreless draw with their local rival. Albion has yet to experience defeat this season as it takes a 3-0-1 record into a Sunday contest with NAIA foe Siena Heights University.

Albion pressured the goal in the second half, placing four shots on frame. The Britons were also credited with shots on goal in the first half and in each of the 10-minute overtime periods. Kyle Alsheskie (Wixom/Walled Lake Western) placed both of his shots on goal.

Senior goalkeeper Brian Greathouse (Dearborn) needed to make three saves to help Albion post its third shutout of the season. Albion has allowed just one goal through four contests.
