The Albion College softball team completed its trip to the Rebel Spring Games in Kissimmee, Fla., with a 3-9 record after gaining a split of its Friday contests. Alyssa Castillo drove in four runs, Castillo and Samantha Kolling collected four hits apiece, and Kaitlyn Downey scattered four hits and a walk in her first complete game of the season as Albion thumped Beloit (Wis.), 7-1. The Briton defense let up in the second inning and Bluffton (Ohio) took advantage in sending Albion to a 4-1 setback. Alyssa Tropea drove in Albion's run in the seventh inning. Albion is scheduled to make its northern debut Wednesday with a road trip to Manchester (Ind.).
