ALMA, Mich. – Albion College slipped in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association softball standings after 10-3 and 9-1 losses to Alma College.

Albion tried to fight back in game one. Trailing 4-0 as it went to bat in the fourth, the Britons scored three times. Samantha Kolling (Monclova, Ohio/Anthony Wayne) slugged a one-out double. After a strikeout, Kaitlyn Downey (Macomb/Dakota) produced a RBI single. Claire Cannon (Clinton Township/Chippewa Valley) followed with a single and Downey and Cannon scored on Nicole Romain's (Macomb/Dakota) double.

Alma plated six runs in the bottom of the fourth.

Albionn collected three hits in game two which ended in five innings.
