ALBION – Playing a man down after a first-half red card, Albion College rallied to score the equalizer seven minutes into the second half. The Briton defense, however, broke down later and that sent the team to a 3-1 loss to Concordia (Wis.) University in a non-league match at Alumni Field.

Kurt Miller, a junior forward from Dexter, buried a penalty kick to tie the score at 1.

Arturo Vera scored the game-winner for the Falcons 5 ½ minutes later. Ryan Carey and Michael McCrone scored Concordia's other goals.

Albion finished the contest with six shots. Kyle Alsheskie and Hayes Mueller also placed shots on goal.

Albion will travel to Indiana Sept. 4 for a non-league date with Manchester University.
