ALBION, Mich. – Albion College will look to build on the effort it gave in the final 30 minutes of its non-league match against Carthage (Wis.) College when it returns to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action Tuesday against Olivet College.

Ben Mausar scored his first collegiate goal, but Albion was unable to erase a 3-0 deficit in losing a 3-1 decision to the Red Men. Mausar finished the contest with two shots on goal.

Frank Delgado and Jordan Innis took advantage of Albion turnovers to score goals for Carthage in the first half-hour of the contest. Innis tacked on his second goal with 14 seconds left in the first half. Albion goalkeeper Mike Crinion made four of his five saves in the first half.

Kyle Alsheskie had a pair of dangerous scoring chances for Albion. Carthage goalkeeper Milan Tijanic slid to kick the ball away from Alsheskie in the first half and Alsheskie sent a hard driving shot directly at Tijanic in the second half.
