ALMA, Mich. – Albion College's troubles away from Alumni Field continued Saturday in a 3-0 setback at Alma College. The Britons boast a 5-0 record at home this season, but they are 0-6 on the road.

Zach Vandeveer scored a minute and a half into the match for the Scots. Alma maintained a 1-0 lead at halftime, and Julian Birge and Tyler Raab tacked on goals in the second half.

Alma finished with a 15-12 edge in shots. Albion's problem was putting shots on goal. Only four of Albion's shots had to be stopped by the Alma goalkeeper. Kyle Alsheskie was credited with three of Albion's shots on goal, and Mike Tolkacz had the other.

Albion will play on the road again Wednesday when it visits Adrian College.
