MEADVILLE, Pa. – The Albion College volleyball team gained a split decision Saturday, scoring a three-set victory over Thiel, Pa., College (25-22, 25-12, 25-13) and losing to Bluffton, Ohio, University in three sets (25-22, 25-19, 25-18).

Halle Thom produced eight kills in each match. Caitlin McClorey and Lauren Outwater each collected eight kills and Jalyn Ingalls contributed six kills and three blocks in the victory over Thiel.

Albion won three of its four matches in the Gator Invitational at Allegheny College. The Britons return to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action at 6:30 p.m. Friday with a home match against Alma College.
