Box Score ALBION, Mich. – The Albion College men's soccer team continues to miss having Bobby Budlong in the midfield.
The Britons placed three shots on goal in a 3-1 loss to Kalamazoo College at Alumni Field Saturday afternoon.
Budlong missed his second contest after suffering a broken foot in the Oct. 11 contest. Kyle Alsheskie tied the score at 1 when she struck for his ninth goal of the season in the first half. Mike Tolkacz assisted on the play.
Kyle Hernandez got credit for the game-winning goal with a successful penalty kick in the 29th minute and Cal Kirchen scored his second goal of the contest in the 48th minute.
Andrew Prince and Mike Reitmyer produced Albion's other shots on goal.
Albion starts the next-to-last week of the season with a Tuesday home date against Hope College. Kickoff is set for 4 o'clock at Alumni Field.
