Box Score ANGOLA, Ind. – Albion College will likely be competing against Alma College and OIivet College for the final berth in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association men's soccer tournament during the second half of the league season after suffering a 3-2 setback at Trine University.
Albion never led in the Tuesday contest. Mike Tolkacz scored goals to draw Albion even at 1-1 and 2-2.
Ryan Goodhew scored the game-winning goal for the Thunder in the 80th minute. Mac Green dished out the assist on the scoring play.
Tolkacz produced three of Albion's eight shots on goal. Kyle Alsheskie and Bobby Budlong each placed two shots on goal.
Albion, Alma and Olivet all finished the first round of league play with 3-4 records. Albion begins the second round at 2:30 p.m. Saturday with a road trip to Olivet.
