ANDERSON, Ind. – Jessica Shaw won her first collegiate race on the track Saturday to help Albion College launch the season with a fourth-place finish in an indoor meet at Anderson University. Shaw was the first runner to complete the mile and she finished third in the 800 meters.

Rhiki Swinton achieved second place in the long jump with a leap of 33' 1". Angela Morrison took third in the triple jump and Maicey Peterson was third in the 60-meter hurdles. Morrison and Swinton joined Maryrose DeBeradino and Stephanie Norwood on the 4x200 relay team that finished third.

While no longer competing for Albion, Amanda Weaver, '13, posted a second-place time of 9:16.83 in the 5,000 meters.
