DELAWARE, Ohio – Jessica Shaw turned in impressive performances in the middle distance races Saturday as Albion College female athletes prepped for the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Jamboree.
Shaw finished fourth in the 1,500 meters (4:51.49), and she won her heat in the 800. She finished ninth among the 800 runners, reaching the finish line in 4:51.49.
Coach Lance Coleman also noted the performances established by Angela Morrison. She was 10th in the 200 (27.80 seconds) and impressive in the jumping events.
Stephanie Norwood, Morrison, Hollis Washington and Maicey Peterson achieved a season-best time of 52.90 seconds.
