ALMA, Mich. – Maicey Peterson produced Albion's three points in the pole vault and she qualified fifth for Friday's 100-meter hurdles final on the first day of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Field Day.
Peterson, a first-year athlete from Clarkston, was one of two athletes to clear the pole vault bar at 9' 3". She was awarded sixth place on the tie-breaker.
Peterson achieved a time of 15.93 seconds in the hurdles.
Theresa Hencsie and Angela Morrison will also run Friday after qualifying eighth in their respective events. Hencsie completed the 800 meters in 2:23.10, and Morrison achieved a time of 27.13 seconds in the 200 meters.
