LANSING, Mich. – Bobby Budlong placed four shots on goal and Kyle Alsheskie had three, but the Albion College shooters were unable to get anything past Elmhurst College goalkeeper John Reglin. Reglin stopped nine shots to send the Britons to a 1-0 loss in a non-league men's soccer contest played at the Kenneth Hope Soccer Complex.

Ben Ralph-Swanson broke up the scoreless draw when he got his head on a long free kick by Jeff Kading with 10 minutes remaining in regulation.

Albion pressed for the equalizer, but Reglin stopped scoring attempts by Budlong in the 85^th minute and Alsheskie in the 88^th.

Clayton Cole and Ian Yetzke also placed shots on goal for Albion.

Albion's final tune-up prior to the start of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association action is a Saturday home match against Ohio Northern University. Kickoff is set for 2 o'clock at Alumni Field.
