Box Score ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. – Oreyanna Curry hit 5-of-6 free throws in the final 20 seconds of overtime as Albion College outlasted Rochester College, 88-86.
It was the final game of the season for the Britons, who finish 14-11 overall.
Albion led 34-31 at halftime, but that was erased as Rochester ripped off a 17-5 run to seize a 56-45 cushion with 11 minutes left in regulation.
It took the Britons just 5 ½ minutes to make up the deficit as Darian Payne scored nine of her career-high 29 points. Albion took a 60-59 lead on Payne's basket with 6:43 left in the second half.
The Britons trailed 68-62 with five minutes left, but Olivia Savage scored a basket and a pair of free throws and Tori Henning knocked down a jumper to tie the score at 68 with three minutes left.
Albion took a 73-72 lead on Curry's 3-point basket with 1:16 left in regulation, but Rochester forced overtime as Keearra Brown hit the second of a two-shot free throw opportunity with 17 seconds left.
Albion scored the first six of overtime and never looked back. Savage scored on the first possession and Payne tacked on two free throws the next trip.
Payne, who completed her double-double with 12 rebounds, hit 11-of-21 shots from the field. Savage, who finished with a career-high 24 points, hit 6-of-8 shots from 3-point range. Curry, who produced her third 20-point game of the season with 21, was 16-of-18 from the free throw line.
Erica Schwartz and Jackie Highstreet led Rochester with 15 points apiece.
