LIVONIA, Mich. – Ashley Butler clubbed the first double of her collegiate career and Julia Anderson picked up a single, but those were the only hits as Albion College took 14-0 and 12-0 losses at Madonna University in non-league softball action.

Albion collected both hits in game one. Madonna pitcher Bree Crampton struck out the side in the first and second innings.  Butler led off the third with a double, but she was stranded there. Anderson singled to lead off the fourth.

Game Two

Elena Luce drew a leadoff walk, but she was Albion's only base runner.

Madonna scored nine times in its half of the first and closed out the game in five innings.

On Deck

Albion travels to Kalamazoo College on Saturday for its first Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association doubleheader of the season.
