ADRIAN, Mich. – Jessica Shaw broke the school record in the steeplechase and Angela Morrison had a special day, achieving personal best performances in long jump and 100-meter hurdles and setting a season best in the high jump in the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association's Track & Field Jamboree.
Shaw completed the steeplechase in 11:14.61, finishing 4 ½ seconds ahead of Hope's Erin Herrmann. Shaw shaved four seconds off the school record she established last season.

The triple jump was a good event for Albion, with Rhiki Swinton finishing fourth, Katie Clark in sixth and Camille Sawicki in ninth.
Maicey Peterson locked into a tie for second in the pole vault, clearing the bar at 9 feet, 6 ¼ inches and she finished fifth in the 100 hurdles.
