Box Score GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Bobby Budlong placed four shots on goal, but he was unable to score as Albion College's three-game winning streak was snapped in a 1-0 loss at Calvin College.
The Knights, ranked 20th in the latest Division III poll released by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, got the only goal from Dillon Weldy in the 36th minute. Weldy finished a long throw in from Travis Vegter.
Albion returns home Wednesday to complete the first round of Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association play against Kalamazoo College. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. at the Davis Athletic Complex.
