Box Score ALMA, Mich. – The report credits Albion College with 15 shots Wednesday, but none were especially dangerous in a 3-0 loss at Alma College.
The loss sends Albion (7-8 overall and 6-5 against Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association rivals) to fifth place in the league. The Britons, with 18 points, trail fourth place Kalamazoo (6-3-2 in the league) by two points.
Alma scored twice in a three-minute span of the first half as Noah Canlas and Austin Gabris struck on shots 20 yards away from the goal. Kyle Farmer pounced on a loose ball for a goal in the second half.
Kyle Bourlier generated six shots for Albion, but only two were on goal. Alejandro Ibanez and Erik Vanfossen had Albion's other shots on goal.
Next up for Albion is a Saturday date at Hope College. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.
