Braun, Hubbell Produce Hat Tricks In Men's Lacrosse Loss

BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – Sam Kuhn and Ian Brim produced two goals apiece during Wooster's six-goal binge over the third and fourth quarters to boost the Scots to a 14-10 victory over Albion College in a non-league men's lacrosse match played at Detroit Country Day School.

Cam Braun scored twice in the final two minutes of the first quarter as Albion jumped out to a 4-2 lead. The Britons led 6-4 on Braun's third goal with 12:22 left in the second.

Nate Weltman scored the next two goals as Wooster forged a 6-6 tie midway through the second quarter.

The teams traded goals – Albion getting its from Dominic Hamper – as the game went to halftime tied 7-7.

Zach Hubbell joined Braun in scoring three goals. Dominic Hamper added a goal and four assists.

The box score reports an evenly played contest with Wooster finishing with a 47-42 edge in shots, including 23-19 in shots on goal. Albion dominated face-offs (17-6) and ground balls (21-8).

Albion will travel to Kenyon (Ohio) College for a Feb. 27 match.
