ATLANTA, Ga. – Jessica Shaw finished second in the 5,000-meter run to lead Albion College on the first night of the Emory University Invitational.

Shaw matched Emory's Aileen Rivell step-for-step. Shaw reached the finish in 17:41.58 to finish four seconds behind Rivell.

In men's events on Friday, Mitch Clinton finished fifth in the steeplechase (9:54.60) and first-year athlete Richard Annorat cleared the bar at 6' ¾" to tie for 8^th in the high jump.
