Box Score GRINNELL, Iowa – Kyle Bourlier scored two goals to match his output from last season and Alejandro Ibanez produced the game-winner in the 85th minute as Albion College kicked off the men's soccer season with a 3-2 victory over Grinnell College.
Bourlier scored twice in the first half as Albion jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Kyle Johnson dished out the assist on the first goal and Gabe Martinez on the second.
Kyle Buse scored in the 40th minute and Nick Brule in the 63rd as Grinnell forged a tie.
Andrew Prince dished out the assist on Ibanez's goal. It was the first collegiate goal for Ibanez, a first-year forward who prepped at Allendale High School.
Albion will try to complete a winning Labor Day weekend Sunday afternoon when it challenges Loras College.
