Box Score FRANKLIN, Ind. – Isabella Ratliff hit six 3-point baskets, including one that gave her team a five-point lead with 29 seconds to play, as Franklin College edged Albion College, 69-63, in a non-league women's basketball game Thursday night.
Ratliff finished with a career-high 24 points.
Albion opened the third quarter on a 7-0 run to build a 38-30 lead. The Britons led 50-49 at the end of the quarter.
Franklin went on a 5-0 spurt to take a 56-52 lead and it would never trail again.
Albion pulled within one on two occasions down the stretch.
Emily Bernas led the Britons with 15 points. Brittany Leutz chipped in with a career-high 13 points. Rain Hinton collected her second double-double of the season with 12 points and 12 rebounds.
Albion will take a 7-3 record into its Dec. 29 game against Carnegie Mellon in Delaware, Ohio.
