Box Score BEVERLY HILLS, Mich. – Brandon Lebioda's overtime goal lifted Albion College to a 17-16 men's lacrosse victory over Kenyon (Ohio) College.
"We were fortunate to hang on for the win," Albion Head Coach Jake DeCola said after his team improved to 2-0 on the young season. "Kenyon was very good when they got going late. They had momentum and our guys had to focus on making a few good plays at the end. Thar was a whole team win."
Harrison Palmer tacked on a pair of extra-man goals as Albion led 14-8 late in the third quarter.
Ian Griffith led the Kenyon rally, scoring three times as the Lords surged to forge a tie at 16.
David DiRado, who put three goals and three assists on the deck in Albion's opening win, continued his hot streak with four goals and four assists. Lebioda finished with three goals and two assists and Palmer produced three goals.
John Cooke and Dominic Hamper were credited with two goals apiece.
Next up for Albion is a March 4 date against the nationally ranked squad from Denison University.
