Box Score HIRAM, Ohio – Kay Whitmore scored the equalizer in the 82nd minute to lift Albion College to a 1-1 draw with Westminster (Pa.) College in a non-conference men's soccer match.
It was the second goal in as many days for Whitmore, a first-year forward from Grand Blanc. Gabe Martinez assisted on the score.
Fedja Smajic scored midway through the first halfWestminster.
The box score shows Albion as the more aggressive side, with a 20-12 edge in total shots, including 7-3 in shots on goal.
Albion, 1-0-1 on the opening weekend of the season, will travel to Wisconsin next weekend for matches against Marian University and Lawrence University.
