Box Score ALBION -- In their first conference game of the season, the Albion College men's soccer team had their hearts broken in overtime, falling 1-0 to Kalamazoo College. The Britons now slip to 2-5-1 overall and 0-1 in the MIAA. 

After two scoreless periods, the Hornets netted the golden goal midway through the first overtime period. A header off a cross lifted Kalamazoo to the win, spoiling the MIAA opener. 

Freshman goalkeeper Anton Favre had a great showing between the pipes. 

Albion travels to MIAA preseason favorite Hope on Saturday. The match commences at 7 p.m.
