ALBION, Mich. -- Playing one of the nation's toughest teams, the Albion College men's soccer team dropped a 2-0 decision to Calvin University on Friday night. Prior to the match, Albion honored its four seniors -- Maximilian Loria, Daniel Akhimien, Chad Martin and Joel Zaretti.

Calvin's first goal came in the 11th minute off an unassisted goal by Shay Smith. Smith doubled the Knight lead late in the second half.

Albion totaled six shots in the game, three on goal. Loria made three saves in goal.

With the conclusion of the regular season, Albion will await the seeding of the MIAA Tournament set to begin next week.
