GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — In a Top 25 battle, the Albion College volleyball team found itself on the wrong end of a 3-1 loss to No. 3 Calvin University.
The Brits struggled on offense, swinging at just a .094 mark.
Sophomore
Ja'Nyece Larry was remarkable on the block, recording eight total blocks on the night — a career-high. Webber added six blocks for the Britons.
Chloe Webber led Albion with 13 kills. Junior
Olivia Alexander was next with nine for the visitors.
It was another 20-plus dig night for
Courtney Companion. The junior registered 23.
Mariah Brenz had 14 and
Jenna Schienke had 12. Brenz also tallied 35 assists.
Albion finishes out the regular season on Saturday at St. Mary's. Game time is scheduled for 2 p.m.
