Fight for Albion just became Fight for Aidan.

Albion College wrestling's mantra has been "Fight for Albion." On Thursday, the men's team will compete in a dual at Olivet College, where the programs have teamed up to raise money for Aidan McPartlin. Olivet has dubbed this a "Green Out," reflecting Aidan's favorite color.

Aidan McPartlin is the son of former Albion athletic director, Melissa Walton, and longtime Albion admissions counselor, Lloyd McPartlin. Lloyd now works in the admissions office at Olivet. His older brother, Conor, is a junior at Albion and works in the athletic department. On Dec. 30, Aidan was injured in a serious car accident that has since required a lengthy hospital stay and rehabilitation.

All gate and concession proceeds from the match will be donated to the family, as other donation opportunities will be available at the contest. The match will begin at 7 p.m. at Olivet.

For those unable to attend, but wishing to get involved, the GoFundMe Page can be found at this link.
