DELAWARE, Ohio – A fourth quarter letdown cost the Albion College women's basketball team, dropping their final non-conference matchup of the season. The Britons came up short to Ohio Wesleyan University on Saturday, 68-56.

Brazyll Watkins scored 14 points off the bench, a team-high.
Lolo Reed also finished in double figures with 11 points while tacking on six rebounds and five assists.
The Britons held a slim 19-15 lead after one period, but the Battling Bishops slowly chipped away at the lead to hold a 31-29 advantage at halftime.
Throughout the second half, Albion kept the score close and remained within striking distance of OWU. With 6:18 on the clock, the hosts buried a 3-pointer that pushed them ahead by seven points, ultimately proving to be the dagger. Albion was unable to overcome the deficit, coming up just short as time dwindled down.
Ohio Wesleyan took advantage of the Briton turnovers, scoring 17 points off 18 turnovers.
Cold from the floor, Albion shot just 33 percent from the field. Additionally, the Brits connected on just 23 percent of shots from beyond the arc and only 57 percent from the free throw line.
Daniah Beavers led all players with 11 rebounds.
Emma Cooke hauled in 10 for the Britons.
Following the conclusion of the game, Watkins and Reed were named to the All-Tournament Team.
Albion will resume MIAA play on its home court on Jan. 3 when The University of Olivet pays a visit. Tip off is set for 7 p.m.
