Volleyball falls at Calvin

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Struggling on the attack, the Albion College volleyball team was swept by Calvin University on Friday night. As a team, Calvin finished with 12 blocks compared to three by the Brits. 

Freshman Kayda Herrick's eight kills led Albion in the match. Carly Frank finished with seven. Molly Edmunds dished out 17 assists to lead the Britons, as fellow freshman Joelle Boeskool totaled 10 in the loss. 

Paige Williamson's incredible sophomore campaign continued, racking up 20 digs. Herrick's nine was the next best on the squad. 

The Britons will have two more regular season games before the MIAA Tournament. Albion heads to Saint Mary's on Wednesday for a 7 p.m. contest.
