Women's basketball comes up short

ANGOLA, Ind. – A sizable lead slipped away from the Albion College women's basketball team, suffering a 58-56 setback at the hands of Lake Forest College. 

LFC outscored the Brits 46–26 in the second half to reclaim the lead and steal the win. Sophomore Meghan Trewhella scored a career-high 19 points and brought down seven rebounds. Ava Guilford and Emma Cooke each added 12 points and nine and eight rebounds, respectively. 

The 3-point struggles continued for Albion, connecting on just three of 26 attempts. 

The Britons will be on their home court next Saturday for a 2 p.m. tipoff against Bluffton University.
