Salinas named USILA Scholar All-American

Announced late Thursday, Timmy Salinas was named a USILA Scholar All-American, capping off an incredible career for the recent graduate. Salinas becomes the eighth player in Albion men's lacrosse history to earn the award.

After shifting to multiple positions throughout his career, Salinas finished off his senior year at attack, scoring 23 goals and adding 10 assists. One of the team's co-captains this season, his most memorable game came in the MIAA Semifinals, scoring the game-tying goal with 26 seconds left and eventually, the game-winner in overtime.

To earn Scholar All-America status, one must be nominated by his coach, a senior in academic standing, a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better and behaved in a manner that has brought credit to himself, his institution and to college lacrosse both on and off the field. Additionally, they must have earned all-conference accolades.
