Men's soccer opens season in California

Box Score WHITTIER, Ca. – It was a tough season opener for the Albion College men's soccer team, falling to Whittier College 5-0. Whittier maintained the momentum for almost the entirety of the contest.

The Poets had a 3-0 advantage heading into halftime. Out of the break, the hosts tacked on two more goals to secure the win.

Sophomore goalie Dario Vujic made seven saves in the loss.

On Sunday, the Britons wrap up their California trip with a contest against Caltech. Game time is set for 2 p.m. EST.
