Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Volleyball drops two at home

ALBION – Struggling on both sides of the ball, the Albion College volleyball team dropped both matches on Saturday afternoon. The Britons were swept by both Manchester University and the University of Chicago.

In the first game, the Britons struggled to maintain momentum against the Spartans. Attacking at a .112 mark, Kayda Herrick's eight kills paced the offense. Paige Williamson led the Britons with 14 digs, while Herrick added 12. 

Joelle Boeskool (12 assists) and Brinley McCaig (11 assists) ran the Albion offense. Sophomore middle Reese Williams tallied four assisted blocks in the match. 

Taking on a Chicago team that is receiving votes in the latest AVCA Top 25 poll, the Maroons held all control. Margaret Jones's six kills led Albion. Williamson and Alexis Ames both led the defense with 10 digs each. 

The Brits will be at home on Tuesday when they host Ohio Northern University. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
