Game Recap: Women's Volleyball |

Herrick, Frank lead volleyball in loss

ALBION – Falling at the hands of a more veteran squad, the Albion College volleyball team dropped a 3-1 decision to Ohio Northern University. ONU attacked at a .390 mark for the evening, compared to just .147 by the Brits. 

Carly Frank (12 kills) and Kayda Herrick (11 kills) led Albion's offense. Sophomore setter Brinley McCaig dished out 22 assists, as freshman Joelle Boeskool tacked on 14. 

Paige Williamson ended the night with 11 digs for Albion. 

In the second set, the Britons utilized a big run to swing the momentum in favor of the hosts, highlighted by three aces from Alexis Ames. 

Albion committed 23 attack errors in the loss. On the other side, the Polar Bears committed 13. 

The Britons head to Virginia Beach this weekend for three games at Virginia Wesleyan. On Friday, Albion will take on Stevens for a 5 p.m. match.
