GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – After a three-week break, the Albion women's cross country team competed at Calvin's Knight Invitational at the Gainey Athletic Complex.
They placed sixth out of eight teams in the 6K race.
Bianca Baird led the way with a ninth-place finish with a time of 23:21.5.
Serena Arnold was the second-best finisher for the Britons, coming in 46th (26:25.9).
Taylor Adams (27:56.6) came in 62nd, while
Veronica Paniccia (28:56.8),
Lilli Vandervennet (28:56.8),
Melanie Symons (29:12.1) and
Kyra Shouldice (30:53.1) rounded out the rest of the Britons.

Albion will travel to Muskegon to take part in the Jayhawk Invitational hosted by Muskegon CC at University Park Golf Course on Saturday, October 11 at 9 a.m. as a tune up for the MIAA Championships on November 1.
