WESTERVILLE, Ohio -- The Albion College women's cross country returned to action at the Otterbein Invitational on Saturday afternoon.
Bianca Baird led the way for the Brtions against a large and strong field at the Lehman Cross Country Course. Baird battled the hot conditions en route to a personal-best 6K time of 23:16.64. Baird shaved just over 20 seconds off her previous best, set at the Franklin College Grizzly XC Invitational last season. For Baird, it marked her second consecutive top-10 finish to open the campaign.
Serena Arnold crossed the finish line next (87th) for the Brits with a time of 26:49.98.
Lilli Vandervennet posted a PR for Albion with a time of 30:20.12.

The Britons take a break in their schedule before returning to action at the Knight Invitational, hosted by MIAA foe Calvin University on Satruday, October 4. The race is set to get underway at 11 am.
