WOOSTER, Ohio -- The Albion College men's swimming team maintained its pace on Friday evening, as the Britons held on to sixth place in the competitive 10-team field on day two of the Wooster College Invitational.
Freshman
Tyler Deubel carried over his strong performance from day one and earned a top-five finish in the A final of the 400-yard IM. Deubel logged a time of 4:18.33 to finish fourth.
Jalen Hung finished two spots behind Deubel in the A final with a time of 4:23.39.
Harper Prutch competed in the A final of the 200-yard freestyle and finished seventh with a time of 1:47.23. In the C final of the 100-yard backstroke, freshman
Steven Matyas claimed a top-five finish with a time of 59.03. Matyas also competed in the B final of the 400-yard IM and clocked in at 4:39.24.
In the relays, the team of Prutch, Duebel, Hung, and Matyas competed in the 200-yard medley and finished ninth out of 15 teams with a time of 1:40.63. The quartet of Hung, Duebel, Prutch, and
Brody Roberts finished ninth in the 800-yard free relay (7:36.74).
