The Albion men's swimming team placed sixth of 10 teams (625) at the Wooster Invitational. The three-day meet concluded with Rose Hulman (1730) as the champion.
Tyler Deubel was the best finisher of any Briton, as he took fifth in the mile with a mark of 17:05.47.
Wesley Jenkins placed 11
th (17:33.70).
Harper Prutch and
Evan Steele both found themselves in the B final of the 200 backstroke. Prutch finished 13
th overall (2:05.55), while Steele was 16
th (2:08.93).
Two Britons were represented in the C final of the 200 breaststroke.
Spencer Lukasik won the event with a time of 2:24.79, while
Caleb Galvan notched a 2:28.48.
Jalen Hung, Jenkins and
Steven Matyas all qualified for spots in the 200 butterfly B final. Hung won the race (2:01.25), while Jenkins (2:07.98) and Matyas (2:11.30) rounded out the rest of the Britons.
The 400 freestyle relay quartet of Prutch,
Will Pentland, Jenkins and Matyas recorded a time of 3:23.56.
At Kalamazoo, the divers took part in the Hornet Diving Invitational. The two-day meet featured 1 and 3-meter competition with 11 dives in each event.
Jeremy Romero came in sixth in both the 1 (385.90) and 3-meter (368.45) competitions, while
Cam Thompson competed in the consolation final for both events.
