GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Stellamia Aerts,
Mia Czarnowski,
Caragh Dwyer and the 4x400m relay squad each recorded top 10 marks in program history at the WHAC/MIAA Challenge hosted by Aquinas.
Aerts's 2.80m leap in the pole vault was the fifth-best mark in program history, while her 60m hurdles time of 9.81 was seventh all-time.
Czarnowski landed the sixth-best marks in program history in the long jump and 200m (26.92), while Dwyer's 1:02.22 400m time was seventh all-time — which won the event.
The 4x400m relay squad of
Sarah Kozal,
Brianna Bennett,
Adalyn Mata and Dwyer came in first (4:18.77), good enough for eighth on the all-time list.
Mata took third in the 400m and was one of six Britons to earn placement in the top seven, including Dwyer.
Bianca Baird was runner-up in the mile (5:39.43), while
Paige Allis and Czarnowski each took fifth in the 200m (27.66) and 60m (8.14).
Serena Arnold (12:08.49) and
Melanie Symons (2:51.39) finished fifth and sixth in the 3,000m and 800m, respectively.
Morgan Hurd earned fifth in the weight throw (13.73m), and
Kaylee Kopulos was 10
th in the shot put (10.49m).
Chelsea Thelen also took 10
th in the high jump (1.38m).
