ALBION, Mich. — The 2026 MIAA Women's Basketball Tournament is coming to Kresge Gymnasium!

Come cheer on the No. 3 seeded Britons in their first-round matchup against the No. 6 seeded Kalamazoo Hornets on Wednesday, February 25 at 7 p.m.

This marks Albion's 30th appearance in the MIAA Tournament since its inception in 1993 and eighth time the Britons have been the No. 3 seed — their highest since 2021.

Albion is 19-28 all-time in the MIAA Tournament and has squared off against Kalamazoo twice in postseason play. This year marks their first meeting in the postseason since 2001.

The Britons are 6-6 as a No. 3 seed and are 5-1 against No. 6 seeds. In 2004, Albion won its first and only MIAA Tournament title in program history as a No. 3 seed.
