Calvin College is known as a streaky shooting team. The Knights were on a hot streak Wednesday, burying 16-of-27 shots from 3-point range as they handed Albion College a 106-59 setback to snap the Britons' 11-game winning streak. Taylor Nugent and Madeline Winters reached double figures for Albion with 13 and 10 points, respectively.

The score was tied 6-6 in the early going, but Kelsey Irwin knocked down a pair of "threes", and Carissa Verkaik added a shot from long distance as Calvin opened up a nine-point lead and it never looked back.

Verkaik led all players with 20 points, while Irwin (5-of-5 from 3-point range) and Logan Marsh finished with 15 points apiece for Calvin.
