ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – Playing for the second consecutive day, the Albion College women's lacrosse team simply didn't have the depth to mount a challenge against a Augustana College team that played 21 student-athletes in the contest. Augustana scored 11 first half goals and it went on to hand Albion a 16-3 setback.

Despite the Sunday loss, Albion finished its Illinois trip with a 1-1 record and the Britons will take a 2-2 overall record into their March 23 home debut against DePauw University at Sprankle-Sprandel Stadium.

Ashley Glenn scored all three Albion goals in the second half. Mackenzie Novak assisted on Glenn's first score, and the other two were unassisted. Glenn and Novak combined to take all seven of Albion's shots in the contest.

Goalkeeper Victoria Della Pia made six saves and she scooped up four groundballs.
