LATROBE, Pa. – Albion College matched Saint Vincent goal-for-goal in the second half, but it could not overcome a large halftime deficit in an 18-8 loss to open the women's lacrosse season.

Ashley Glenn led Albion with four goals and Kadie Koolwick chipped in with two. Julie Wood and Isabel Fontana also scored goals for Albion while Mackenzie Novak dished out a pair of assists.

Nora Posival , Alyssa Lang, and Megan Fisher scored four times apiece for Saint Vincent.

Albion completes its weekend road trip with a Sunday match at Franciscan University in Steubenville, Ohio.
