ALBION, Mich. – Ashley Glenn scored 10 goals – bringing her season total to 64 – in Albion College's 19-12 loss to Alma College in Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association women's lacrosse action.

Mackenzie Novak and Glenn scored in the first 2:15 of the contest. Albion led 3-2 on Glenn's tally seven minutes into the contest.

Alma scored the next seven goals and never trailed again. Albion did not go down quietly, however, as Glenn scored three times in the final 5 ½ minutes of the first half to cut the margin to 9-6 at halftime. Glenn scored 45 seconds into the second half and Albion trailed, 9-7.

Albion goalkeeper Victoria Della Pia made some nifty saves as Albion trailed by three, 12-9, midway through the second half.

Alma scored five in a row to break away. Tracy Gallihugh and Ashton Street scored five goals apiece for the Scots and Christie Havrilla added four goals.

Albion will complete the regular season Saturday with a contest at Adrian College.
