ADRIAN, Mich. – The Albion College women's lacrosse team completed its first regular season under Coach Shanta Loecker with a 6-8 record after a 20-5 loss to Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association champion Adrian College.

Adrian, which completed the season with a 6-0 record against its league rivals, outscored Albion 14-0 in the first half. Hannah Early scored all five of her goals in the first half, and Olivia Duncan scored three of her five goals in the first half. Duncan also dished out four assists in the contest.

Ashley Glenn and Kadie Koolwick scored two goals apiece for Albion. Mackenzie Novak added a goal and Julie Wood dished out an assist.

Albion has the No. 4 seed for the MIAA Tournament. The Britons will meet Adrian Thursday night at 7 in a semifinal round contest.
