ADRIAN, Mich. – A season in which Albion College overachieved expectations came to a close Thursday with a 21-2 loss to Adrian College in the semifinal round of the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament.

Coaches in the league expected Albion to finish last, but led by first-year coach Shanta Loecker and co-captains Ashley Glenn and Mackenzie Novak, the Britons earned one of the four berths in the league tournament.

Ashley Glenn scored a goal in each half for the Britons.

Olivia Duncan led Adrian with eight goals and three assists.
