Box Score 2 WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Albion swept a doubleheader from Waynesburg (Pa.) College, 28-10 and 3-0, at Chain Of Lakes Park Thursday to climb above .500 for the first time this season. The Britons, winners of all four games they have played in Florida, are 4-3.
Third baseman Dan Mills and center fielder Brendan Diamond collected four hits apiece in the doubleheader. Right fielder Michael Fischbach slugged two doubles and a grand slam homerun in driving in seven runs.
Waynesburg scored six times over the first two innings of game one. Albion Head Coach Scott Carden credited reliver Bob Green for setting the tone for the day when he yielded a run in 2.1 innngs of work in game one. Jesse Brigham also worked two scoreless innings of relief in game one.
Dylan Woolley and Guannar Owens combined on the eight-hit shutout in game two. Woolley went six innings to pocket his first collegiate victory, walking one and striking out three.
