GREENSBORO, N.C. — Evan Schuster has been named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA) Region VII All-Defensive Team. The senior was the only player from the MIAA selected to the nine-man squad.
Playing centerfield, Schuster recorded career highs in putouts (92) and assists (3) while committing zero errors. In 136 career games, the four-year starter notched 279 putouts in 286 chances with six assists and just one error.
At the dish, Schuster was one of the Britons' most feared hitters. Batting primarily in the leadoff spot, he hit .333 with 42 runs, a career-high 53 hits, 15 doubles, five home runs and 28 RBI. Schuster ended his career as a .320 hitter while totaling 170 hits, 45 doubles, four triples, 11 home runs, 88 RBI and 121 runs. He was also named to the All-MIAA second team twice (2024, 2025).
Teams from 10 different regions are voted on by members of the ABCA, and the process is led by the ABCA Division III All-America and Coach of the Year committee.
