BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Albion College track & field Coach Lance Coleman said his team had a good week of spring break training in Panama City Beach, Fla., and it paid off in the Britons first outdoor meet of the season in the Southern Invitational at Birmingham Southern College.

Adleigh Dahl turned in Albion's top individual finish when she placed second in the pole vault.

Angela Morrison placed in two events finishing fifth in the high jump and eighth in the triple jump. Camille Sawicki and Rhiki Swinton finished fifth and sevent, respectively, in the triple jump.

On the track, Jessica Shaw placed fourth in the 1,500 meters, Lizzie Tuma was fifth in the 400 hurdles and Theresa Hencsie was seventh in the 800.

Albion's next competition is March 28 when it travels to St. Louis, Mo., for the Washington University Invitational.
